The research behind Drop 01
The idea behind our first drop started with a personal favourite: the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7.
Few cars capture the spirit of driving quite like it. Its distinctive silhouette, iconic ducktail and racing heritage made it the natural starting point for Octane Ritual.
Rather than creating a conventional automotive graphic, we wanted to bring that obsession to life through our own interpretation of a vintage petrol station, combining the timeless lines of the Carrera RS with the typography and atmosphere of another era.
A tribute to the machines that make us stop, look back and remember why we fell in love with cars in the first place.

If the Carrera RS represented our admiration for the machine, James Hunt represented the character behind the wheel.
A Formula 1 World Champion in 1976, Hunt became a cult icon not only for his racing achievements, but for his fearless attitude and unconventional personality.
His unmistakable helmet became the centrepiece of our second design, capturing the raw spirit of an era when motorsport was as much about personality as performance.
What connects the two tees is a remarkable piece of history: Hunt owned a 1973 Carrera RS 2.7, chassis 9113600498, originally belonging to Lord Hesketh.
Two icons, seemingly different, connected by the same passion for driving and living beyond convention.
